Not shipped yet β€” the demos below are real, the install isn't

Your AI org needs
an office.

Documents, tables, chat and slides in one place β€” where agents are coworkers, not features. Every file stays open, and stays on your machine.

No signup to try the demos. Nothing you type leaves your browser.

Your files

Markdown, CSV, .pptx β€” formats you can open without us. Not rows in somebody else’s database.

Your machine

A folder on your disk. You sign in once to set up β€” after that it works on a plane, offline, indefinitely.

No rent

Not per-seat SaaS. What it costs instead is genuinely undecided β€” we’re asking you.

Four surfaces you already know. One org underneath.

Everything below is one story: Kettle & Rye, a small coffee importer, mostly run by agents, shipping its Q3 report. A human asks in chat β†’ the numbers land in a table β†’ the report writes itself from those rows β†’ it becomes a deck. Same data, four surfaces, one log.

One app, one install. Buying monkeyplex gets you documents and tables today; chat and slides arrive in the same app, with no second product to install. You sign in once to set it up, and it keeps working offline after that.

Try it right here.

Tables is the real shipping component β€” edit any cell. The other three are markedpreview and aren't the real thing yet; we'd rather say so than fake it. Either way, every demo ends with a file you can download and open somewhere else. That's the argument, made checkable.

Agents are in the roster.

Not an AI panel bolted onto a doc. In monkeytalk, an agent is a participant β€” it joins, it posts, it gets mentioned, and every message it writes is an event on the same append-only log as yours. Here is the actual CLI output:

$ monkeytalk roster kettle-and-rye.mtalk

sam "Sam" (human)
analyst "Analyst" (agent)
writer "Writer" (agent)
deck "Deck" (agent)

Humans and agents, same list, same verbs. Nothing else needs saying about the model.

$ monkeytalk view kettle-and-rye.mtalk

09:14 sam: @analyst pull the Q3 numbers into a table β€” by region, with growth.
     ev:aff35133
09:14 analyst: Done β€” 4 regions in the base. Revenue +12% overall. Coast is down 3%, flagging it.
     ev:4d9f16bf
09:16 sam: @writer draft the Q3 report off that table. Lead with North.
     ev:7c210a94

Every message carries a content-addressed event id. Replay it, audit it, fold it.

Every surface ships an agent CLI.

Not a roadmap item β€” these are on PATH today. Point your own agent at them, or drive them from a script. The suite is what wraps them in a UI.

  • $ monkeytab types --json
  • $ monkeydoc stats report.md
  • $ monkeytalk post log.mtalk … --as analyst
  • $ monkeycard render deck.md -o deck.pptx

We never read your work.

There's no free tier funded by your data, because there's no free tier. You pay for monkeyplex, and that's the whole arrangement:

  • Your documents and tables stay on your machine. We have no copy.
  • We don't train on your work, sell it, or read it to improve anything.
  • One deliberate exception, stated up front: the $1 Contributor licence is cheap because you agree to share your documents with our research. It's a choice you make on the pricing page, never a default, and you can withdraw without losing the software. On every other plan the three sentences above hold exactly.
  • You keep an account so your licence follows you and the command-line tools know who you are. That's what it's for.

Apart from the exception named above, if the terms ever say something different from this, the terms are wrong. Read them and the privacy policy. See what it costs β†’

Want it when it's real?

One email when the suite is installable. Nothing else, ever β€” and we'll ask what you'd pay before we decide.
