There's also a $1 contributor licence with one very explicit trade, spelled out on its card. A licence covers monkeydoc and monkeytab today; monkeytalk and monkeycard join it when they land.
Before the numbers: we never read your work
There is no free tier funded by your data. On the $10 and $100 licences your documents and tables stay on your machine, and we don't train on them, sell them or read them — ever. The one deliberate exception is the $1 contributor licence, which exists because of that trade and says so in plain words on its card. The account exists so your licence follows you and the command-line tools know who you are.

This is the only plan where your work leaves your machine — on every other plan we never receive it at all. The $1 price exists because of the data: stop sharing and the licence ends, though you can upgrade to $10 and carry on. Your files are always yours either way.
